Photovoltaic Modules

Photovoltaic modules are the core of the plant. They are made up of solar cells connected with each other in series or in parallel. These connections are called “strings”. On the back of the module there is a junction box which collects the electricity produced.

A group of modules linked to each other  electrically constitute the photovoltaic field which, in turn, is connected to an inverter that  transforms the direct current generated by the module into alternating current  which is subsequently fed into  the electricity grid.

Combining  a photovoltaic field and other mechanical, electrical and electronic components enables solar photovoltaic systems to be produced.

Enerpoint has three different typologies of photovoltaic panels:

  • Monocrystalline silicon
  • Polycrystalline silicon
  • Thin film
