24/05/2007 - Enerpoint S.p.A. announces signing an agreement for the manufacture of photovoltaic modules with Trina Solar Ltd.

Enerpoint S.p.A., a leader in the Italian photovoltaic industry, today announces signing an agreement for the manufacture of photovoltaic modules with Trina Solar Ltd., a company founded in December 1997 which is today known around the world for the high quality of its monocrystalline modules.

The partnership provides for the manufacture of 6 MWp monocrystalline photovoltaic modules throughout 2007. The shipping of materials began already last March.

“Trina Solar, a company with a vertically integrated manufacturing model, is extremely well-positioned for entering the Italian marketplace and is proud to have begun a partnership with Enerpoint. This will bring greater recognition of the Trina Solar brand name in Italy and will be a huge push towards research in the photovoltaic industry”, affirmed Sales and Marketing Director, Arturo Herrero.
This long-term agreement represents an important step for Trina Solar: the Italian market today represents one of the most strategic in the photovoltaic industry.
