  • Project: Small houses for nurses
  • Associations: Association “Friends of Angal”

Finally, by the end of July 2009, the construction of new houses has been completed and they will be assigned to staff working at the hospital of Angal.

The new housing units were equipped with electricity produced by a small solar panel installed on the roof and are located near a 40 meters deep well which will allow people to have access to water, a very precious and necessary resource for life.

We wish Dr. Marsiaj and all his collaborators a lot of success!

How did this ethical project start?

Many new projects are being defined for the village of Angal.
Sometime ago Dr. Marsiaj wanted to devolve part of the funds raised to allow the construction of housing for  the hospital nurses.

The goal was to provide nurses, who are currently living in huts, a decent place to live near the hospital.

Although the staff is very professional, highly experienced and deeply devoted to its work, often gives up the job offered by the hospital and prefers to work in a city where there's a higher comfort.

The idea of the Association was precisely to avoid this escape to the city, and to convince the young nurses by offering this little comfort to provide their outstanding capabilities to the local hospital.

With our donation the first two houses were finished.
