InterSolar 2012: Enerpoint announces the opening of its Benelux offices

15/06/2012 - A new stage of its large-scale internationalization strategy.

The will to enter a new and appealing foreign market has encouraged Enerpoint – top player of the PV industry in Italy – to face the challenge in the Benelux thus opening its new premises in Mechelen – Belgium : Enerpoint BVBA

This “operation” is part of Enerpoint’s consolidated strategy of internationalization which allowed the Group to achieve relevant outcomes in Germany and Israel, where the company has been operating since March 2011 and expecting the same for the UK office, opened just earlier this year.

Boasting over 11 years experience in the renewable energies industry, Enerpoint is announcing the opening of its new Benelux office (located in Mechelen, near Brussels) during the InterSolar 2012 - the world’s largest exhibition for the Solar Industry – which takes place in Munich from 13rd to 15th June, 2012. Enerpoint belongs to the “Italian excellence” businesses of the energy industry attending this major exhibition which attracts over 80,000+ visitors.

Enerpoint Benelux will serve her B2B customers in Belgium, Luxembourg as well as The Netherlands.

“We are committed to offer an attractive portfolio of products and services to meet the constantly changing industry requirements – stated Ton Kroef, General Manager at Enerpoint Beneluxwith sufficient differentiators for our installers as well as PV installation owners”.

The Belgium market, especially Flanders as an established and maturing market with stable and attractive (albeit under scrutiny now) incentive schemes for several years, will be steady in both residential and commercial sector. The market in Wallonia will show intensified growth figures in coming years, catching up with Flanders.  Encouraging is the development in The Netherlands where independent from incentives, the market is expected to install 45MW as a result of multiple initiatives. Although still insignificant compared to the results in neighboring countries over past years, due to high energy costs the Dutch market may grow towards first 100MW market without subsidies, something the industry wishes to see long term.

The Enerpoint Group recent expansion in the UK and now Benelux is part of a large-scale internationalization strategy: “We are establishing ourselves and growing up on foreign markets too – declared  Paolo Rocco Viscontini, President and CEO of Enerpoint SpA - as witnessed by our participation in the major international trade exhibitions such as this Intersolar in Germany, Solarexpo in Verona, Clean Tech in Israel, Ecobuild-London and InterSolution in Gent”. “We will keep on following our internationalization and diversification strategy, by exporting our business model – we deem to be a successful one - also to other countries”, concluded Paolo Rocco Viscontini.
